| Abstract: | At the CENDI meeting on April 15, 2003 at USGS, Mr. Haycock explained that the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) is a strategy to ensure that the President's Management Agenda is achieved to make the government more responsive and efficient. The five initiatives in the President's Agenda are the management of human capital, competitive sourcing, facilitating the delivery of effective e-government services, improved financial performance, and budget and performance integration. FEA is made up of five reference models: business, performance, service, data, and technical. The goal of FEA is to identify common functions, to share data and resources in the same business line across agencies, and to simplify citizen access. |
