Abstract:	At the April 2002 CENDI meeting, Ms. Davids provided a brief overview of the metadata template being used at NAL. It is used for documents created by NAL staff and for materials that are digitized from print for preservation purposes. Elements of the template include preservation, content stability, and support access. NAL is using Handles in the prototype system. XML will be included in the final system.
