Abstract:At the June 2002 CENDI meeting, Ms. McGarr discussed the six major ongoing activities at the National Library of Education. The major activities include the ED Reference Center, ERIC, the ED Pubs Program, the U.S. Network for Education Information, the National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities, and the National Educational Network. The NLE library staff will be moving, although the library will remain in the same building. NLE's program fund is one million dollars with individual activities having their own funding. Ms. McGarr ended by expressing her concern that the reauthorization of this program may not be passed.
