Abstract:At the June 2002 CENDI meeting, Mr. Landy summarized some of the major changes in Senate's version of the E-Government Bill from 2001 to 2002. Some of the major changes involved the removal of the Federal CIO position; the introduction of perfomance measures; the setting up of an interagency committee to allow OMB to set guidelines; and consolidating government information.
