| Abstract: | At the August 2002 CENDI meeting, Dr. Cummins provided a historical perspective of the technologies that support information management in public/private sectors. His examples included the marriage of the public and private sector development of the Internet and the copyright battle between NLM and a large medical publisher reqarding fair use for the public. He ended his discussion by distinguishing between the contracting out of government services and privatization. |
